The Case ch. 4There was little traffic, but then again, who expects many people to be up at five-thirty in the morning? The truck roared down the almost empty streets. It was a quick dart to the precinct, only about four blocks away. Truth is, the only reason Kiefer was going there was to pick up information and ammunition. Not many people knew him, which was a good thing in this case, for it made parking and entering the building easy without distraction. A flash of his tag to the front desk and he was in.The Case ch. 4
His desk was close to the back of the small, grey room. Not much enthusiasm was put into the floor plans. There were no pictures on the wa

The Case ch. 3 Candles filled the cavernous room. Along shabby bricks and rising pillars, thousands of dancing flames flickered from the small current f air created by the opening of a large oak door. The Case ch. 3
"Come in." A deep, compelling voice commanded. The sound resonated across the room, creating an effect of pure dominance.
A stooping man, holding a leatherbound book gave a respectful bow and shuffled quickly into the room, closing the door behind him. His boots scuffed the cold, hard cobble floor. The clicking of his heels stopped in front of an altar where the candles congregate

The CaseAn evening sun shown bright about the green grass of the Crown Hill cemetary in Seattle. A handful of men and women dressed in black surrounded the one splotch of dirt that disrupted the sea of headstones and mausoleums. Tears ran down the faces of a few mourners while some stood in silence. Several men wore kilts and several more stood in officer uniform. The sound of bagpipes and birds was the only noise to be heard in the desolate area. One man in specific stood out, clad in a green army jacket, white T and levi's. The only black he wore was a beanie and steel-toe work boots. The Case
His name was Kiefer Tillman and this was his broth
